DANICA MAKSIMOVIC

Starred in more then 60 films and TV series, and in more then 70 theatrical plays. She feels mostly attached to her first film “Hajduk” where she starred in the role of Rada.
Some of her famous films are:”U ime zakona”, “Tesna koza”, “Noc u kuci moje majke”, “Bal na vodi”, “Natasa”, “Mi nismo andjeli”.
In year 1992, she is involved in a cabaret “Godine zapleta”, and in 1997, after 18 years of being faithful to Theatre on Terazije, she leaves her mother theatre. Roles she played marvelously in theatre plays: “Cigani lete u nebo”, “Gorke Suze Petre fon Kant”, “Lukrecija iliti zdero” (for which she received Sterija’s Award). Plays “Porazgovarajmo o zivotu i smrti” (BITEF), “Plava Ruza” (Modern Garage), are on the theatre repertoire.
She was chairman of the Association of Drama Artists of Serbia in the period from 2000-2002.
Younger generations remember her from a puppet show “Laku noc deco”, where she borrowed her voice to Lija, while the older audience watched her in TV shows “Vruc vetar” and “Sretni ljudi”.
She played the leading role in first Serbian telenovela “Jelena”.
